IPL Schedule 2024 Match Dates, Time Table, Venues, PDF Download and Teams
The IPL Schedule 2024 by BCCI is here for all the T20 match list that is set to begin in March. IPL 2024 schedule begins in April and the final will be played in May. There are total of 74 matches that also include 2 qualifiers and 1 eliminator and then the finals. These matches will be played between Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. Each team will play twice or once based on the their position in the virtual groups.
With a total of 10 teams and 5 teams in each group, each team will play 14 matches in the group stage before playoffs. In 2024 edition of IPL, each team will be playing 4 teams from their group twice then 4 teams from the other group once & one team from the other group twice. IPL Schedule 2023 & Time Table (By Date)
As per IPL 2023 schedule, the tournament will be fully hosted in India. Each team will play fourteen matches during the league stage (excluding the playoffs and final match). All ten teams will play each other twice in the league format before the top four teams qualify for the playoffs. Use the search below to filter matches by venues, teams or timings. Updated 17/2/2023: IPL 2023 begins from March 31 with GT vs CSK at Ahmedabad. In total, there will be 70 league games that includes 18 double headers. The tournament returns to its familiar home and away format with all ten teams scheduled to play seven games at their home venue and seven away.

IPL 2023 Groups
The IPL 2023 teams are split into two groups: Group A is made up of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants, while Group B is made up of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
IPL 2023 Schedule FORMAT – The 10 teams will play a total of 14 league matches each (7 home matches and 7 away matches) totaling to 70 league matches, followed by the 4 playoff matches. As per updated IPL schedule, each team will play 5 teams twice and the remaining 4 teams only once (2 only home and 2 only away).

Each team will play twice with the teams in their group and with the team in the same row in the second group. With the rest of the teams in the second group they will play only once during the season in coming IPL schedule.

16th Edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023
The 2023 season of the Indian Premier League, abbreviated as IPL 16 or TATA IPL 2023, will be the 16th season of the IPL schedule. This year league will be played in India since part of the previous year tournament was played in the UAE. This year IPL schedule edition also features 2 new teams named Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants making it a 10-team league once again.
The IPL mega auction list has a total of 590 players (with 370 Indian players and 220 overseas players) from which franchises will get their picks from. Amongst 590 players who have registered for the auction, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and 7 belong to Associate Nations.
About the IPL schedule in India

The Indian Premier League is a T20 league that takes place every year in our country and players from other countries including India also participate in this league. Teams participating in this league of cricket represent Indian cities or states. Matches are played between these teams and in the end the team that wins the final takes the title.
The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) announced the start of the Indian Premier League in 2007 and the league was started only a year after that announcement.

- Mumbai Indians have the highest number of wins in IPL schedule (107 wins) followed by Chennai Super Kings (100 wins) and Kolkata Knight Riders (92 wins).
- In 2012, Chris Gayle had scored the highest individual score of 173* runs against Pune Warriors India. He smashed bowlers all over the park and ended the team score to 263 which is also the highest team score in a T20 match.
- Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers shared the highest partnership of 229 runs against Gujarat Lions with both of them scoring a ton each.
- KL Rahul made the fastest fifty in IPL of just 14 balls. He scored that half ton against Delhi Capitals playing for Kings XI Punjab.
- Lasit Malinga is the leading wicket taker in IPL history. He has severed Mumbai Indians a lot and leads the bowling department of MI from front.
- Experienced bowler Amit Mishra who plays for Delhi Capitals has taken the most number of hat tricks in IPL history.
- Virat Kohli had scored 4 centuries in a single season and also ended up scoring the most runs (973) in a single IPL schedule season but unfortunately couldn’t take the team to IPL victory. He is also the leading run scorer of all IPL seasons.
Controversy associated with the IPL schedule
- During the 2013 league, match fixing was done due to which two teams were banned and these teams were Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Apart from these teams, many players were also banned from participating in this league. However, the banned teams have returned to the league of 2018.
